Travel Accessories For My Toddler I Never Leave Home Without

Traveling isn’t always easy with a baby or a toddler. Hopefully it gets easier as my 2.5 year old gets older! Even if you are a frequent traveler, you get thrown in new situations all the time. Between flight delays, a seat with inoperable power outlets, or even a noisy hotel room, travel can get frustrating. I’ve curated a list of all my travel accessories and gadgets for my toddler that I never leave home without.

WayB Pico Travel Car Seat: $475

This travel car seat is an actual lifesaver for more than one reason. First and most obviously it keeps your little one safe on the plane and in any other transportation you have when you land. This sturdy carseat is only 8lbs and set up is so much easier than your regular car seat. All you do is slide the seat b

To keep my daughter well fed on the flight we absolutely love Dino Bars. They are organic fruit bars wrapped in an edible paper so they don’t get sticky. Not only are they organic but they are made without any artificial flavors, preservatives or refined sugars!

SlumberPod Inflatable Travel Bed: $79.99

We got this inflatable travel bed for our toddler a few months ago for a trip to Europe. I cannot say enough great things about this. It packs up small and comes with an electric air pump to inflate in under a minute.

SlumberPod Blackout Crib Cover

This pairs perfectly with the SlumberPod Toddler Bed or on its own if your child is still sleeping in a crib. It keeps pretty much all the light out while still extremely breathable. The first few times setting this up was a little challenging but I have the solution! Extend each of the poles and put each through the four sleeves at the top before sliding the bottom in the slots. Lastly, you’ll clip the bottom clips on the lower part of the poles on each side. Once you master this, it should only take 5 minutes to set up!

Amazon Fire 7 Kids Tablet: $54.99

We don’t give our 2.5 year old a tablet at home but flying on a plane is a different story! Sure, there are seat back screens on the plane, but there usually isn’t a ton of kids content. With the Fire 7 Tablet, you can load all your kids favorite shows and movies for when you’re on the go. We even had the flight attendant give the tablet to our daughter to make it a special plane treat. You can also buy a Micro SD card to expand its memory so you can load even more content.

Kids Wireless Headphones: $19.99

These cheap and lightweight wireless headphones pair perfectly with the Fire Tablet. They have multiple colors too. They’re rated for 60 hours of playback time and while I didn’t do a full test, they certainly lasted for two long haul and mutliple connecting flights without having to charge them.

AirFly Pro: $54.99

Now that you have your wireless headphones, how do you connect it to the Inflight Entertainment (IFE)? The AirFly Pro is a tiny dongle that work great if you aren’t into tablets or forget it at home. It allows your little one’s wireless headphones pair with the seatback screen.

Apple Air Tags: $64.99

Drop one of these in each of your kids bags to know where they are at all times. Whether a checked bag or your carry on, these little guys can be a lifesaver. The one bag I didn’t have an AirTag in was my daughters suitcase and I left it on a train in the middle of Sweden… Thankfully the hotel was friends with the train conductor and was able to help me get it back!

Yogasleep Rohm Portable Sound Machine

This little guy is great for a hotel room that is a little too noisy for your liking. It drowns out all the sound with 3 different noises to choose from. It will last for up to 8 hours on a single charge.

Yogasleep Rohm Portable Sound Machine

The Rohm+ has a total of 20 sounds to choose from and last for up to 20 hours on a single charge.
