Amex Adding ChatGPT Credit to Business Platinum and Gold Cards

While the exact date hasn’t been provided yet, American Express announced that both the Business Platinum and Business Gold cards are each getting a $300 ChatGPT Business statement credit. It isn’t clear if this will be a monthly or annual credit. It will most likely will be an annual credit as a ChatGPT Business subscription is $300/ year per user. If you pay monthly it is $30/month per user.

Earlier in the year we saw a survey go out asking about which perks cardholders would like to see. It seems that ChatGPT was the winner. This also likely means that the annual fee will be increasing as well from $375 to $495 per year for the Business Gold card.

A ChatGPT Business subscription requires a minimum of 2 users so this credit will take care of at most half the annual fee. And according to ChatGPT, you cannot split the monthly or annual fee across two cards. So if you have both the Business Platinum and Business Gold, you won’t be able to use both credits for your membership.
